Meeting Minutes
The Newtown Cultural Arts Commission (NCAC) held a meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Old Courtroom at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, Newtown, CT.
Members Present: Debbie Aurelia, Martin Blanco, Jennifer Johnston, Joe Grasso, Donna Mangiafico, Linda Watson
Members Absent: Rob Kaiser, Marina Moscovici, Linda Watson
Auxiliary Members Present: Jennifer Rogers
Guests Present: Kristine Humber
Jennifer Johnston called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
The CT Film Festival was discussed. Programs were handed out for members to distribute. Jennifer Johnson asked members to attend upcoming movies to hand out fliers.
Jennifer Johnson reported that banners would be out soon to advertise the Film Festival. The Newtown Bee had an article this week and will again the next two weeks.
Martin Blanco discussed the Radio Flagpole Café and the possibility of moving the show to the Edmond Town Hall Theater.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009, 7:00 PM in the Town Clerk’s Office at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, Newtown, CT.
